Dr. George Lin has been seeing patients at our Northcote based clinic for more than 25 years, specialising in acupuncture and cupping therapy, herbal detoxification and range of other specialist services.

For thousands of years, Chinese medicine has been about the long-term maintenance of our bodies, using natural remedies coupled with the right mental state of mind to engage the bodies own healing mechanisms. At Chinan, we take this a step further, Dr. George applies the science to the age old practice of Chinese medicine, in addition to meditation and other techniques to cultivate the mind and body.

About Us
Chinan Chinese Medical Centre has been in Northcote for 30 years, and has seen thousands of customers, with as many positive stories to tell. The clinic was founded in 1993 by Doctor George Lin, who wanted to bring his years of experience practicing Chinese medicine to a Western audience.
Today, Dr. George is a fixture along High Street Northcote, and is well regarded for his expertise in acupuncture and cupping. He is also well known for his ability to fix back and muscle pains, treat stress and anxiety issues, provide relief of seasonal allergies, among a host of others. Prices
All initial visits are charged at the initial consultation plus treatment rate. Prices of subsequent visits depend on the treat schedule and follow the rates below:
Initial consultation treatment:
Includes diagnosis, discussion and treatment. Whereby treatment could include acupuncture, moxibustion and/or cupping.
Approx. 60-90 minutes
$125 incl. GST
General treatment:
General treatments will follow your initial visit and can include acupuncture, cupping and/or moxibustion.
Approx. 30-60 minutes
From $95 incl. GST
(Please note that pricing will vary depending on individual circumstances and treatment needs)
Herbal medicine:
Depending on your conditions and goals, herbal medication may or may not be necessary to complement general treatment. In certain circumstances only herbal medicine may be required.
Pricing varies depending on dosage and ingredients.
Clinic Etiquette
We understand that life can get hectic and stressful at times, and that is okay. Unexpected delays or unforeseen circumstances can happen to anyone. If you find yourself running late or cannot make an appointment, we kindly ask you to give us a call so we can make necessary adjustments and accommodate your needs to the best of our ability.

Using a combination of traditional TCM methodology, and close examination of the elements of a patient, Dr. George can help concoct a ready-to-mix blend of herbal remedies specifically designed to help. All you have to do is add boiling water.
